Some of you might recall that way back in the day before smartphones were mainstream, Palm was actually kind of the first to create devices with huge touchscreen displays. However, we suppose the company was probably too ahead of the times because the concept never quite caught on until much later, but by that time it was too late.

That being said, it seems that Palm is still very much alive and well because the company has since officially announced their latest product – the Palm Buds Pro. These are a pair of true wireless earbuds that come with noise-cancelling technology and three microphones per earbud designed to help improve its audio quality.

There are built-in touch controls and it features an ambient mode, and according to the company, offers up to 24 hours of total battery life. The earbuds are also IPX4 rated which means that they should be more than good enough to survive a sweaty workout session and a quick wipe down.

That being said, Palm is entering a very competitive market, although at $99, we suppose it is relatively affordable enough for people to consider giving the brand a chance. The Palm Buds Pro can be pre-ordered now so head on over to Palm’s website for the details.
