For those who might be hearing impaired, there is a good chance that some of you might already be using hearing aids. However, depending on the model that you’ve chosen, it might be a bit difficult to try and use your hearing aid in all sorts of environments because some places might be louder than others.

However, at CES 2022, Eargo has taken the wraps off its sixth iteration of its hearing aids which they’re calling the Eargo 6. One of the main features of the hearing aid is called Sound Adjust. This is a feature that can automatically identify your environment using an algorithm, and can then adjust the hearing aid’s settings to best suit your needs.

Eargo is no stranger to customized hearing profiles. With the Eargo 5, the company had a Sound Match feature that can create customized profiles, but the problem is that it was sort of like a manual tuning process which takes about 8-10 minutes to complete, and required users to place their hearing aids in its charger.

This is hardly ideal, especially if you’re outside, but with the Eargo 6’s Sound Adjust feature, all of it can be done automatically. That being said, users will have to pay a premium for the latest model because they do not come cheap at $2,950 for a pair. It does come with a 45-day trial period and financing, and customers will also receive lifetime support.
