Apart from being known for their laptops, GPUs, and routers, ASUS also dabbles in smartphones. However there was some concern expressed by some when it was revealed that the company’s CEO Jerry Shen would be stepping down, and when they detailed their “mobile transformation plan” which seemed to focus on gaming and power users.
Just like how the iPad Pros come with a Smart Connector that allows additional accessories and peripherals attach to it, the ASUS ROG Phone also came with an additional connection port that was separate from the USB-C port that it typically used for charging. This extra port is also of the USB-C variety and is featured on the side of the phone.
ASUS is one of the few smartphone manufacturers who have put a gaming smartphone on the market. Its ROG Phone has been slowly making its way to more markets across the globe. The company has now revealed that it will soon be releasing this handset in India. Customers in the country will be able to purchase it starting next week.

A teaser posted on the official ASUS Twitter account suggests that the ROG Phone U.S. launch could take place later this month. No further information has been provided about this by the company so far.
