#IFA18 – Laptops come in varying shapes and sizes, but given that for the most part people choose laptops for their portability and mobility, factors like size and weight are important considerations. For those shopping about for a new laptop, ASUS might have several that you could be interested in.
The ROG Phone is aimed at serious mobile gamers. It ships with an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM. The handset has a price tag to match but it appears that the company might have developed a slightly more affordable version of the handset. Chinese regulatory agency TENAA has revealed that there are two versions of the ROG Phone with 4GB and 6GB of RAM.
ASUS recently unveiled their 15-inch Zephyrus S gaming laptops, which they claim to be the world’s thinnest gaming laptops. However if you feel that maybe a 15-inch laptop is too small for your liking, then you might be interested to learn that ASUS has also unveiled a 17-inch gaming laptop as well.

Quite a few Android Go smartphones have already been released by different manufacturers and ASUS is now joining the list. The company has released the ZenFone Live, its first Android Go smartphone. It has come as a bit of a surprise since the rumor mill hadn’t mentioned anything about ASUS having an Android Go device up its sleeve.
Asus has reached out today to confirm that it’s now taking pre-orders for the ZenFone 5Z. The smartphone will be available from retailers later this week. The company’s latest flagship smartphone was supposed to be launched in June initially, Asus has decided to take longer to bring this device to the United States.
ASUS today announced the availability of the ZenFone 5Q, it’s latest mid-range smartphone that features a four-camera system as it has dual cameras at the front and back. The camera is unquestionably the unique selling point of this handset as it’s a bonafide mid-range handset otherwise. ASUS has confirmed availability of the handset today, it’s also immediately available for purchase in the United States.
These days we’re starting to see companies increase the amount of RAM that goes into a smartphone. On average we’re probably looking at anywhere between 4-6GB of RAM, with one or two exceptions packing 8GB of RAM. However it seems that ASUS might have actually tried fitting 10GB of RAM into a smartphone at some point in time.

ASUS has launched a handful of new products at Computex 2018 today and the ROG Delta Type-C gaming headset is one of them. While the headset adopts the USB Type-C standard for futureproofing, it ships with a Type-A adapter so that the headset is backward compatible with legacy USB ports. Perhaps the biggest selling point of this new headset is its built-in quad-DAC.
