Sony Pledges To Use 100 Percent Renewable Energy By 2040
Some of the world’s major tech companies have pledged to use eventually use 100 percent renewable energy and Sony is joining that list today. The Japanese tech giant has confirmed that it’s aiming to use 100 percent renewable energy to power its global operations by 2040. It’s joining the RE100 initiative operated by the international NGO The Climate Group. More than 140 companies worldwide have committed to RE100 so far.
