e-Ink displays are in our future: whether it is to build eBooks, display art/advertising or to be used in hybrid LCD/e-ink displays, they are bound to be everywhere one day. This advertising display from Neoluxiim is so energy efficient that indoor solar power is enough to get it going. That’s pretty muchour dream gadget todisplay art inthe office.
What’s the catch? Well, it dies after 18 months, which is a big issue in terms of e-Waste. If they can’t recycle/repair it easily, that’s a no-go for now… (video in the full post)
