Solar Sanctuary concept for public use

British designer Alexander Williams decided to do his bit in greening the earth with the Solar Sanctuary concept – a sustainable installation that will see action in public spaces, delivering a universal communicative solution in the form of a stainless steel main canopy with a thin composite sheet functioning as its umbrella. The canopy itself comprises of solar panels, while offering relief from the heat or rain to passerbys. Not only that, you will also be able to benefit from a free wireless signal that is powered via solar energy collected throughout the day, while plants in the planter are watered through captured rainwater. A place for you to get work done while waiting for the rain to stop? Perfect.
