Folders, Emailing and Printing Coming To iBooks

A leak is going around that Apple is planning to offer some significant improvements to iBooks in the future. According to the leak, the very useful ability to create folders will be arriving on iBooks, similar to how the iOS home screen supports folder creation. With that, users will be able to create their own “Collections” and name them whatever they like. Aside from that, another benefit of folders is that it’ll allow users to sort both PDFs and eBooks into the same Collection. Aside from that, users will also be able to easily email PDFs from iBooks to anybody, not to mention the printing of PDFs via AirPrint. That being said, Apple is adamant that printing and emailing ePub books, which is probably a good way to avoid a piracy outbreak. There wasn’t any mention of when such an update will be arriving, though.
