Despite the recent announcement of Nokia’s partnership with Nokia, the Finnish mobile giant isn’t going to be releasing any Windows Phone 7 devices anytime soon. The first Nokia phones running Microsoft’s operating system will have to wait ’til after October. According to some speculations online, Nokia will be waiting until the next version of WP7 (codenamed Mango/WP7.5) which is only going to be released in October. This means that we’ll only see Nokia WP7 phones this coming winter holiday season. If it turns out to be true, what will Nokia do until then? Surely they won’t be releasing any new Symbian phones in the meantime. MeeGo handsets perhaps? This whole Nokia-Microsoft deal is starting to get interesting. What do you think?
