[CES 2013] No matter how much you believe you own your iPad or iPhone, if you have a young lad or lass running around, you know it’s really their device that they lend to you every so often. Which means you should really consider checking out some accessories for them for the moments when they decide they need “their” iPad or iPhone more than you do. Griffin has got you covered as they’re introducing a line of kid-friendly accessories and applications at CES this week.

The first accessory Griffin is introducing is the Crayola Light Marker which is a marker-shaped pen that can be used in combination with a multi-activity application where kids can draw in the air, to which the Light Marker’s movements will be picked up by your iPad’s front-facing camera and your child’s masterpiece will show up on the device’s screen. The Light Market will be available this spring for $29.99.

The next set of accessories are allow your child to show off their favorite Nickelodeon characters like SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by having “their” iOS device covered in their favorite character’s embrace. A number of iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch accessories for each character will be available this spring, with other Nick character accessories planned in the future.

The last kid-friendly accessories Griffin is introducing this week are from KaZoo and offer animal-inspired accessories like headphones and cases that feature animalslike an elephant, monkey or zebra that will give your iOS device that not only will have your kid enjoying them, but will probably have other children wanting to hold your iPhone. KaZoo’s headphones also feature built-in volume-limiting circuitry so you don’t blow out your children’s eardrums and are durable and fully adjustable. These accessories, like the others, will be available this spring.
