shamu-dark-brightRecently we have been seeing a slew of Motorola “Shamu” photos hit the web. The first one we saw was a mockup, and yesterday we were treated to a size comparison between the Shamu and the LG G3, and now thanks to a newly leaked photo posted in the comments section of Droid-Life, a photo of the handset turned has been spotted.

Now as you can see in the image above, the photo on the right has had its brightness cranked up which reveals Motorola’s logo at the the top left corner of the screen. The other photo to the left is the original but you would not have known that it is a Motorola handset. That being said, the display on the screen also shows off the “Shamu” moniker as well as revealing the Android build version as “L”.

Now we have to admit that the photo isn’t exactly the best quality and a display screen can easily be faked, but at the same time the curves of the phone certainly do resemble the earlier leaked photos of the Motorola Shamu, which is also known as the Nexus X. It’s interesting that the Android L name is still being used.

Prior to this there were rumors that suggested that Google could be thinking of revealing the name for Android L, with the L reportedly standing for Lemon Meringue Pie. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but with a rumored launch in October, hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer to find out the details.
