People who have already placed their pre-orders for Samsung’s new flagship smartphones can no doubt hardly wait for their units to arrive. Samsung’s official release date for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge is April 10th but Sprint isn’t going to stick with it. The carrier has confirmed that it will start shipping units of both new flagships from monday, April 6th.

Sprint isn’t the only carrier in the country that’s not sticking to Samsung’s official release date for the new smartphones. T-Mobile started taking pre-orders for both new devices on March 27th and last week it had even begun shipping Galaxy S6 Edge units to some customers.

Customers who placed a pre-order on Sprint can expect their units to arrive from tomorrow. The carrier confirmed through a tweet that it starts shipping Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units to its customers across the country from Monday, April 6th.

There are no reports as yet about AT&T and Verizon doing something similar. As it appears, both carriers are going to go with Samsung’s official release date for both devices.

Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy S6 has gained much traction, particularly with U.S. customers. Pre-orders of the new smartphones are believed to be double than that the Galaxy S5 was able to bring in during the same period last year.
