Demands appears to be quite high for Apple’s first smartwatch. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch were opened on April 10th and in just four days the company is going to start shipping units. Those who have placed their pre-orders are no doubt aching to get their hands on the Apple Watch, and in case any of them have been wondering just how long the Apple Watch takes to boot up, we have the answer for them right here.

A video has been posted on YouTube which shows just how long it takes for the Apple Watch to boot up, 70 seconds to be precise so it certainly isn’t quick.

To be fair though this is a first-generation product and its processing power doesn’t even come close to the likes of the iPhone 6 which is why it would be unfair to hold the Apple Watch up to that standard.

The Apple Watch is powered by the company’s S1 chipset which more or less has the same power as the A5 processor that Apple put inside the iPod touch 5G and the first iPad mini.

Apple Watch shipping estimates have already slipped so many customers who want to buy one will end up having to wait for a couple of months until the supply demand gap shortens.

Until then they can probably watch the plethora of Apple Watch unboxing and review videos that will be posted online after the smartwatch starts shipping on April 24th.
