lumia_950_xlAccording to an earlier rumor, it has been suggested that the new Microsoft Lumia flagship phones could be announced in October. From what we know at the moment, these flagship devices are also known as the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, or also by their codename as the Talkman and the Cityman.

We’re sure many are curious as to what a Microsoft designed Lumia smartphone would look like, especially when you consider that previous Lumia releases still feel like they have a touch of Nokia in them. For those wondering, wonder no more. This is thanks to @evleaks who has recently posted renderings of the upcoming Cityman and Talkman handset.

lumia_950As you can see, the device is clearly labelled as a Microsoft phone. In some ways they kind of remind us of Microsoft’s Surface tablets in terms of their design, but that’s not a bad thing. In terms of specs, both devices are said to feature QHD displays, but the Lumia 950 (Talkman) will sport a smaller 5.2-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.

The Lumia 950 XL (Cityman) will be larger with a 5.7-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor. Both devices will also feature a 20MP rear-facing PureView camera, with the latter device sporting a triple flash. Like we said the rumors are suggesting that we could see an October announcement so until then, do take it with a grain of salt.
