imacEarlier this year it was suggested that Apple could be working on a 21.5-inch 4K iMac. Now according to new reports, it has been rumored that manufacturing of the alleged iMac is said to be in full swing and that come November, the new iMacs could be released, so if the 27-inch 5K iMac is a bit out of your price range, hopefully this model will be more affordable.

Now with a rumored launch in November, it is unclear as to when Apple might announce it. A recent rumor has revealed that Apple will not be hosting an event in October. The October event has typically been reserved for devices like the iPad, but considering that Apple pretty much revealed all their upcoming products yesterday, it doesn’t seem like there will be much left for October.

What this means is that Apple could potentially release a 21.5-inch iMac, but they might only make an announcement via a press release instead of an actual event. However we wouldn’t be surprised if there was an event to announce the iMac and the release of OS X El Capitan, but right now it’s really anyone’s guess.

Unfortunately apart from the rumored 4K resolution, not much else is known about the upcoming iMac, although it is believed that Apple could turn to the use of Intel’s latest Skylake processors. Until we hear otherwise, take it with a grain of salt for now.
