Hulu is a good online video streaming service that has held its own ground against rivals like Netflix, one of the advantages that it has over its rivals is that exclusive deals allow it to bring recent content like new episodes of TV shows much earlier to its streaming platform. However one aspect of the service that many didn’t like was that they had to put up with commercials even after paying a monthly subscription fee. Now Hulu is finally providing them with the option to get rid of those pesky commercials.

They say that the best things in life are free but Hulu’s new commercial-free streaming option isn’t. If you don’t want to view commercials on Hulu you’ll have to opt for its $11.99 per month streaming option. If you’d rather not pay that much then stick with Hulu’s $7.99 per month plan that’s supported by “limited commercials.”

“Many of our customers have asked us for a commercial free option, and so today we are excited to introduce just that,” says Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins, adding that “Providing more choice for consumers is fundamental to the Hulu experience, in addition to an array of choices in content and devices, our customers can now choose to watch with or without commercials.”

Hulu has been aggressively working to expand its content lineup since last year to better compete against rivals, it’s now the exclusive online streaming destination for rerun favorite Seinfeld, has exclusive streaming rights to hits such as Empire, South Park, Fargo and much more.
