apple music sonosIf there is one unique feature about Sonos speakers is that it has the ability to stream music from the likes of Spotify, Google Play Music, and Tidal via its controller app. However Apple Music support has not been available which is what the company had confirmed earlier this year, but the good news is that support will be arriving soon.

As what Sonos had promised, they will be including support for Apple Music by the end of the year and sure enough they have. According to a post on their website, Sonos has announced that support for Apple Music will be arriving on the 15th of December, so if you have Sonos speakers hooked up in your home, then this is something to look forward to.

However according to Sonos, support will only be arriving in beta form. “We are excited to tell you that Apple Music will be available on Sonos December 15th in beta. A beta is an early preview of the service, and an opportunity for people like you to help us shape the experience of listening to Apple Music on Sonos in your home.”

This means that there might be some bugs or features that don’t work as intended, but like we said that is the result of the feature being in beta. However if you are subscribed to Apple Music and would love to stream it to your Sonos speakers without having to plug in a cable, then you’ll want to mark the 15th of December on your calendar.
