lightning lvYou might recall that towards the end of last year, Louis Vuitton launched a new campaign that instead of using regular human models to model their products, they instead turned to the character Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. Now obviously we’re sure everyone knows that Lightning isn’t a real person, and this is where it gets a bit fun.

It seems that Louis Vuitton decided to get a bit creative with the campaign and has since released an “interview” with Lightning to the folks at The Telegraph, in which Lightning speaks her mind about how she feels to have been chosen to model for the fashion house, and what she thinks about the company’s latest creations.

For example when asked how she feels to be part of the “fashion family”, Lightning responds by saying, “They are in a completely different world. As part of the family, but I have so much to learn to catch up to these radiant women who are light years away from where I stand. I hope that one day, we can share the same stage, that different worlds can come together. But who knows? Maybe that’s ambitious, even for me.”

She was also asked what are her plans for the future in which she said, “One day, not so far in the future, I will be out there again, in a world of strife. But I won’t be the same person I was before. I will return to my origins, like a Mobius strip, but it’ll be a new me, one who has evolved. I look forward to the day we meet again.”

It’s a pretty fun read, especially if you’re a huge Final Fantasy fan. If you’d like to read the interview in its entirety, head on over to The Telegraph for the details.
