The Samsung Galaxy S7 will be announced in less than two week’s time, and if you are considering getting your hands on the phone, here’s an incentive. According to a report from Android World (via SamMobile), they have revealed that customers who pre-order the phone will be getting a free Gear VR headset.

Sounds good, right? So the next question is, when will the phone go live for pre-orders? Their report addresses that by saying that Samsung will be kicking off pre-orders on the 21st of February itself, which is also when the phone will officially be announced at MWC 2016. However their report seems to indicate that this is the pre-order date for the Netherlands.

The offer is also said to be valid from the 21st of February until the 10th of March, which coincidentally enough is also close to the handset’s rumored release which is set for the 11th of March. Note that this report is coming from the Netherlands, so it is unclear if Samsung will extend this promotion to other countries like the US, or if it will only be available to certain parts of the world.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but a free bundled Gear VR headset sounds like a great way to start using your brand new handset. With that being said, do check back with us on the 21st of February for all the official details.
