It was only a couple of months ago that Titanfall 2 was confirmed, it’s the second title in this franchise and the first that’s not exclusive to the Xbox. EA is going to provide more information about this game at E3 2016 next month, but a latest leak has brought us a new Titanfall 2 poster, some information about the gameplay as well as the potential release date of this game.
The leaked information reveals that Titanfall 2 is going to feature larger multiplayer maps and that it’s also going to introduce grappling hooks.
Apparently the new grappling hook item can be used quite extensively, it’s said that the hook can be used for getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, and even for tactical plays like pulling enemies while they’re in mid-air.
The information was provided on the Titanfall subreddit by user ilovegoogleglass who also mentioned that the pre-order bonus for Titanfall 2 will include a handgun called the Violator, aside from mentioning that multiplayer maps are bigger in the sequel.
EA is going to make a “worldwide announcement” for Titanfall 2 on June 12th. It’s rumored that the game will be released on October 1st, the same day Battlefield 1 comes out. The left side of the image posted above is said to be the box art of Titanfall 2, which will be available for PlayStation 4, PC as well as Xbox One and also features a single-player campaign mode.
