pokemon-goYesterday Pokemon Go was launched for Australia and New Zealand. Many were wondering about its US release and last we heard, gamers in the US and Japan were told to wait for a while. Turns out it wasn’t that much of a wait because according to reports, it seems that Pokemon Go has finally been released for the US.

The game is currently available on iOS and Android and gamers can head on over to the iTunes App Store and Google Play if they want to get their hands on it. It should be noted that while the game is free, there will be in-app purchases where players can purchase PokeCoins, so depending on your playstyle, you may or may not end up spending a lot of money.

Just in case you’re hearing about this for the first time, Pokemon Go is probably one of the highly anticipated games for mobile. This is because unlike other Pokemon games, which are famous and popular in its own right, Pokemon Go actually lets you go around the world and capture Pokemon, meaning that you could spot Pokemon on the streets, or at a friend’s house, and so on.

This is thanks to the use of augmented reality which was based on a prototype game developed by Niantic a couple of years ago. In any case here’s your chance to check out the game, so hit up either app store for the download.
