When Apple launched the first-generation Apple Watch, it’s safe to say that while some loved it, it was never quite the revolutionary device that we had all heard about. However with the launch of the Apple Watch Series 2, many reviews are calling it the device that Apple should have initially gone with.

The smartwatch is both faster, brighter, and most importantly, water-resistant, meaning that its usefulness has been extended. In fact one of the ways Apple boasted about its water-resistant feature was how the watch would actually be able to “reject” water out through its speakers by literally pushing water out, and now thanks to a slow-mo video captured by Nathan Smart, you can actually see it in action.

In the video above, you can see the Apple Watch Series 2 spitting out a fair amount of water from its speaker grills. While the rest of the watch has been designed to be protected against water, its speakers still offer up a way for water to get in, so what Apple did was come up with a way to expel the water, which is admittedly rather clever.

Now we’re not sure if this completely clears the watch of all drops of water, but from what we can tell it seems to be quite a lot. In any case you can check it out for yourself in the video above if you’re curious.
