There are many ways to make coffee, but if you’re after consistency, Nespresso (and other similar devices) can help with that. The amount of coffee ground has already been measured in individual pods, along with the temperature of the water, and the amount of water. If you’re after a similar painless experience when it comes to making cookies, CHiP might be what the doctor ordered.

As you can see in the video above, CHiP is basically a device that bakes cookies for you. It calls itself a smart cookie oven and we guess to a certain extent it is. The cookie dough has already been mixed together and portioned out in individual pods, and all users have to do is take them out, put them inside CHiP, select the type of cookie they want to bake via the smartphone app and they’re done!

This means that if you have zero baking skills, you’re pretty much guaranteed a decent cookie at the end of it. To top things off, there are also social features with CHiP. Like we said there is an accompanying app that lets users send “CookieGrams” which are basically videos that you can share with friends and family members when your cookies are done baking.

Now we can’t speak to the quality or taste of these cookies, but from the video it does look like a pretty straightforward process. If you are interested in helping make CHiP a reality, then hit up its Kickstarter page to pledge your support, or watch the video above to get an idea of how CHiP works.
