Tag Heuer confirmed several weeks back that it’s going to release the successor to its first Tag Heuer Connected Android Wear smartwatch this year. The company is expected to unveil this new smartwatch in the very near future. Not much is known about the new Tag Heuer Connected smartwatch except that it’s going to be powered by Android Wear 2.0. The company has now started teasing the new product on its social media channels.

The new Tag Heuer Connected smartwatch is reportedly going to have some unique features. It may have fully customizable lugs with a variety of straps and clasps on offer. It’s also expected to have an automatic watch head module which will let users switch between a conventional automatic movement and an Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch display.

This means that customers will get the best of both worlds with this smartwatch and while the teaser the company has shared online doesn’t reveal much, it tells us to stay tuned for more. The teaser also confirms that Tag Heuer is going to officially unveil its new Connected smartwatch on March 14th.

All of the details about the technical specifications of the smartwatch will obviously be confirmed at the official launch event so don’t forget to check back on March 14th once all of the official details have been revealed.
