Lenovo recently launched a new LEGION Desktop PC which is VR-Ready, but you can bet that more is coming.

IFA is a critical launch platform for the biggest brands on the planet, and this year should be no different. It is the last major international electronics trade show before the holiday season. Keep an eye on Ubergizmo as we cover some of the best product launches revealed at IFA 2017!

LG

LG’s much-rumored V30 flagship is finally going to be unveiled at IFA 2017. The company recently sent out invites to the press for an event which takes place in Berlin on Thursday, August 31st.

LG’s second flagship of 2017 will feature a Snapdragon 835 processor as well as a dual camera system. It’s likely going to lose the secondary screen that started out as the biggest differentiating factor of LG’s V series. This is the handset that LG will be pitting against the Galaxy Note 8s and the iPhone 8s of the world in the second half of 2017.

Sony

Sony has traditionally used the IFA stage to unveil new flagship smartphones and it’s expected to stick with that tradition this year as well. Recent reports suggest that a bezel-less Sony flagship will be unveiled at IFA 2017.

There aren’t a lot of details available about this device so far but it can reasonably be expected to feature flagship-level specs and a bezel-less display, a trend that has caught on with many OEMs this year.

Huawei

China-based Huawei is one of the fastest growing smartphones OEMs in the market right now. The company is due to unveil its Huawei Mate 10 flagships but reports claim that it won’t unveil the handsets until October this year, well after IFA 2017.

The company did release a teaser recently which suggested that Huawei is going to make artificial intelligence-related announcements at its IFA 2017 event on September 2nd. Huawei is reportedly going to unveil a new artificial intelligence processor, a dedicated chip for AI, which will, in theory, add more smart features to its future devices.

Samsung

Samsung conducted its own event recently in New York to unveil the Galaxy Note 8. While the company has previously used the IFA stage to launch new Galaxy Note handsets, it decided against that this time around.

The company did say that it’s going to unveil a new Gear smartwatch at IFA so we have that to look forward to. It’s also expected to unveil a new fitness tracker at the event. We may even get to see some new mid-range tablets from Samsung in Berlin.

Motorola

There haven’t been many rumors so far about what we can expect from Motorola this year at IFA. However, it’s likely that we might get to see a new smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company.

The new Moto X4 has been making the rounds over the past few weeks. It’s expected to feature a 5.2 inch full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It may even have a dual camera system at the back.

Lenovo

Lenovo’s IFA 2017 press conference is going to take place on August 31st, just before the convention is opened to the public. Not much has been leaked as yet with regards to new products from the Chinese company so we shall see what it has in store for us.

Acer

As expected, Acer will be conducting a press conference at IFA 2017 as well. There’s also going to be a product showcase. It’s unclear at this point in time what Acer will be unveiling. The company is likely going to unveil new notebooks at the event.

The company has previously launched new wearable devices at IFA events in the past so it’s likely that we might get to see some of those products this year as well.

Asus

Asus has a press conference scheduled on August 30th. The company hasn’t dropped many hints as yet about what it’s going to unveil at the event. It unveiled the ZenWatch 3 last year so perhaps we might get to see a successor to the smartwatch.

It’s also likely that Asus might launch new notebooks at IFA 2017 and may even show off its new ZenFone handsets.
