Anker might be a brand that some of you guys are more familiar with when it comes to charging related accessories or connectivity accessories, but the company also has its Zolo brand which creates audio products, such as speakers. At CES 2018, the company took the wraps off their latest speaker model, the Zolo Model Zero.

While we have seen plenty of speakers announced at CES, the Model Zero does stand out from some of them as it is a smart speaker that comes with Google Assistant baked into it. What this means is that users will be able to treat the Model Zero more or less like the Google Home and use it to control various smart home appliances as well as other things that the Google Assistant is capable of.

In terms of specs, Anker is boasting that the radial design of the Model Zero helps to create the “optimal angle” for high-end drivers to deliver “superior sound performance”. It also features a brushed aluminum exterior and handle, along with woven fabric as its cover of choice. There will be three models to choose from, such as silver, bronze, and gold.

In terms of pricing and availability, Anker did not share those details save for that it is expected to be available in the fall of 2018.
