When Apple first launched the Apple Watch, it’s safe to say that it wasn’t really what many were expecting and it did leave something to be desired. However to Apple’s credit, the subsequent iterations of the Apple Watch have seen vast improvements, especially with the Apple Watch Series 3 which finally introduced LTE connectivity.

Apple’s decision to finally include LTE connectivity in the Apple Watch Series 3 appears to have paid off because in the company’s latest financials, Apple is claiming that the Apple Watch has seen its best quarter yet. They are also boasting that the Apple Watch Series 3 models are selling at twice the volume compared to its predecessor last year.

To date Apple has not shared the actual figures in terms of how many Apple Watches they’ve actually sold. This has led to a lot of speculation and also very different figures depending on which third-party analytics you want to believe, but regardless of which is official and which aren’t, they seem to be mostly telling the same story, which is that the Apple Watch is selling well.

Apple is expected to launch the Apple Watch Series 4 later this year, but not much is known about its features. We have been hearing that Apple is testing out glucose monitoring for the Apple Watch, but when exactly it will be integrated remains to be seen.
