The other day it was reported that iOS 11.3 was released, except that it seemed like the release was only for Apple’s latest iPad which was unveiled at the company’s recent education event. However we’re sure many other iOS users were wondering where their update was? The good news is that it’s here.

Apple has officially released iOS 11.3 to all, so if you have a compatible iPhone or iPad, you will be able to update to the latest version of iOS right now. The update will bring about a bunch of changes and some new features, one of which is the ability to let users disable the throttling feature of their phones.

This means that if you don’t appreciate Apple slowing down your iOS device, you can disable it, although note that there is a chance your phone might experience random reboots and shut downs depending on how badly your battery is degraded. In addition to that, iOS 11.3 will introduce a battery health feature that lets users check on the status of their battery’s condition.

There will be some updates to privacy control, new Animoji, an update to ARKit, Business Chat for Messages, and more. The update weighs over 700MB so you’ll want to make sure you’re connected to WiFi and have your phone plugged in to a charger if you’re looking to update it.
