Ahead of Google I/O 2018, it was rumored that Google could be looking to revamp Google News with a brand new design. Sure enough the rumors were true as Google did unveil a revamped Google News. For those who are looking to start exploring the new design, you’ll be pleased to learn that it is now available on iOS.

In an update to the Google News app on iOS, Google has brought its promised redesigned to iOS users. For those unfamiliar, Google announced that they would be changing up the design of its News app and essentially folded Newsstand into it. The new UI is said to help make finding and reading the news easier and it is also supposed to be less biased.

There will be new sections, such as Full Coverage that takes shows information from various sources so that readers will have a more complete picture of what’s going on. There will also be curated tweets, opinions, analysis, comments and more, along with a timeline that lets users keep track of news stories that are unfolding.

So if you are a user of Google News, then you’ll want to check out the latest update. Alternatively there have also been rumors suggesting that Apple could be looking to revamp their news service as well, and maybe we’ll find out more at WWDC 2018 next month.
