If you’re thinking about getting your hands on the Apple Watch, maybe you might want to wait until next month. This is because according to popular belief, Apple is expected to announce the Apple Watch Series 4 alongside its new iPhones, and if the rumors are true, we could be looking at a slightly larger display.

Of course none of this is confirmed yet as Apple has yet to make any kind of product announcement, but according to French blog Consomac (via MacRumors), Apple has recently made some filings at the EEC which seem to confirm that there are new Apple Watch models in the works, and all of them running on watchOS 5.

The models in question are the A1977, A1978, A1975, A1976, A2007, and A2008, and these filings are a legal requirement for encrypted devices to be sold in countries such as Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. As MacRumors points out, similar filings have been made in the past for various Apple products, like the iPad, AirPods, MacBook Pros, and more.

They also note that these filings usually take place about 1-2 weeks before the products are officially announced, which would suggest that the Apple Watch Series 4 could be announced soon. Right now there is speculation that the new iPhones and the Apple Watch could be announced in the second week of September, although like we said, no official invites have gone out yet.
