Not long after the introduction of its new iPhones, Apple has now started selling refurbished units of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. These certified refurbished models are available for purchase through the company’s online store for the first time. Both models can be purchased with the 64GB storage configuration in multiple color options.

Customers can save some money in the process if they decide to pick up a certified refurbished unit. That’s one of the main reasons why people decide to purchase refurbished units in the first place. They’re priced approximately 15 percent less than the full retail price. The refurbished units start at $499 for the iPhone 8 and $599 for the iPhone 8 Plus.

Apple’s refurbished units get their certification after they have made it through a strict process. There’s an expectation that customers have from Apple products that the process is there to ensure that it can be delivered even with refurbished products. The company also provides original accessories with the models in addition to a one-year warranty. Customers can even purchase additional AppleCare coverage.

Those who are interested in picking one up can now head over to Apple’s online store and get a certified refurbished iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. They stand to save a decent amount of money compared to the full retail price of these handsets.
