So we have heard that Samsung could be working on a new smartwatch in the form of the Galaxy Watch Active 2. Now thanks to photos discovered on the FCC, it seems that we have a better idea of what we might be able to expect from the upcoming smartwatch, like its touch-sensitive bezels.

According to the rumors, it has been suggested that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 could come with touch-sensitive bezels. When Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch Active earlier this year, they removed the rotating bezel from the smartwatch, and it looks like the Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be introducing a touch bezel in its place.

We can’t be 100% sure if the FCC photos confirms it, but based on the positioning of the icons, it certainly seems to make sense. By removing the physical bezel, it does give the watch a more sleek look. It is possible that by removing moving parts from the smartwatch, it could also help with its water and dust resistance as it means less points of ingress.

There is no word on when the watch will be launched, but with Samsung scheduling an event for the 7th of August for the launch of the Galaxy Note 10, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Galaxy Watch Active 2 were to be launched then as well.
