The Apple Watch has typically been offered in either an aluminum or stainless steel finish. Apple had previously attempted to be fancy by offering gold or ceramic casings, but ultimately decided to discontinue them, or at least until now, where thanks to the latest watchOS 6 beta, there are signs that Apple could be planning the use of new materials for the Apple Watch Series 5.

According to a report from iHelp BR, they discovered that within the watchOS 6 beta, there were some signs that suggested that the Apple Watch Series 5 could be offered in both a titanium and ceramic finish. We imagine that this will be in addition to the aluminum and stainless steel options that are already being offered with the Apple Watch.

Also, based on the premium materials, these models should be more pricey compared to the regular versions of the Apple Watch, although exactly how much more expensive remains to be seen. However, it should be cheaper than the previous gold versions of the Apple Watch, where the last ceramic Apple Watch was offered starting at $1,299.

There is no word on when we will be seeing the new Apple Watch models, but Apple is expected to host an iPhone event in September, so there is a chance that these new Apple Watch models will be announced then as well.
