When it comes to refrigerators, the goal of these devices is to keep our food cold or frozen. However, over the years, we’ve seen Samsung try to reinvent the fridge by giving it hi-tech features. However, it seems that this year instead of stuffing its fridges with as much tech as they possibly can, the company appears to be taking a step back and focus more on design.

This has resulted in what Samsung is calling the BESPOKE fridge, where it appears that they have been created design-first where they are adopting a modular design. We’re not sure how exactly they will work in terms of modularity, but customers will be able to choose from a variety of different configurations to suit their needs.

As you can see in the photo above, the BESPOKE fridge is certainly going to be a talking point in any home thanks to the use of colorful panels. This seems to be catered more towards European customers, according to Harry Choi, Corporate SVP, Head of Design Team. “European consumers have a preference for built-in style kitchens and a desire to reflect the family’s identity and personal taste in their interior design. We are excited to see how Samsung’s new lifestyle innovations of quality craftsmanship and innovations such as the BESPOKE satisfy the unique needs of each household.”

There is currently no word on how much these BESPOKE fridges will cost or when they will be made available, but it could be worth keeping an eye out for for your next home.
