According to the rumors, Samsung is said to be working on a new foldable smartphone. However, unlike the Galaxy Fold, the upcoming foldable handset will be similar in design to a flip phone, except with a flexible display in the middle. Now thanks to a report out of Korea from Naver, the alleged price of the phone has been leaked.

Based on the leak, it seems that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip will be priced at 1.6 million won, which after conversion is roughly around $1,374. This is actually cheaper than the Galaxy Fold, but then again, this is a smaller device with a smaller display, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that it is cheaper.

However, even at $1,374, it is still considerably more expensive than other flagship phones out there, but chances are you are paying to be an early adopter. It also makes it ever so slightly cheaper than the Motorola Razr, where it was recently announced that it would be going on sale next month where it would be priced at $1,500.

Samsung has yet to officially announce the Galaxy Z Flip, but the company will be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event on the 11th of February where we expect that more details about the phone will be shared, along with the announcement for the Galaxy S20, Samsung’s first flagship handset of 2020.
