The other day, Apple officially announced the Apple Watch Series 6. The smartwatch is priced starting at $399, which isn’t the cheapest smartwatch we’ve seen, but we have some bad news. This is because it has been discovered that Apple will not be shipping a power adapter with the Apple Watch Series 6.

This means that you will only get the magnetic puck, but you will need to get your own power adapter. However, given that the cable relies on a USB connection, there is a very good chance that many of you might have such a charger at home already, so we imagine that this won’t be too inconvenient.

However, at the same time, we’re sure that there are going to be some who are fuming that Apple is not including a basic accessory, despite how much they are charging users for the device. We should remind you that Apple is also expected to do the same with the iPhone 12, so if anything, this is a sign of things to come.

That being said, it might actually be more troublesome for iPhone 12 customers because the handset is rumored to ship with a USB-C to Lightning cable, so unless you have a USB-C power brick already, you might need to drop extra cash to get one either from Apple or from a third-party accessory maker.
