According to the rumors, Apple is said to be working on a new accessory called the AirTags. For those unfamiliar, this is basically a tracking accessory similar to the Tile tracking accessory where users can put them in bags, wallets, hang off their keychains, and more. Apple has yet to officially announce anything, but could they be hinting at it?

In a tweet by Jon Prosser, he seems to be alluding that the circles in the design of Apple’s iPhone 12 event invite could actually be hinting at the launch of the AirTags. Of course, the circular designs could be nothing more than an abstract design, but it is also possible that it could be Apple’s way of hinting at upcoming products before they launch.

It is entirely possible that we might be reading too much into this, but at the same time given the mounting evidence of the AirTags tracking accessory, we imagine that this event is as good a time as any to make the official reveal. We might end up being a bit disappointed, but at the same time, we might be pleasantly surprised.

Apple’s AirTags are rumored to be using ultra wideband technology that has been built into Apple’s newer iPhones. This is said to offer up more precise/accurate tracking compared to regular Bluetooth technology that could make the accessory more appealing compared to the competition.
