Last year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Buds, a pair of relatively affordable $79 true wireless earbuds. It was clear that based on its pricing that these were targeted towards users who wanted true wireless earbuds but didn’t want to spend too much on them, but what about those who were hoping for something better?

While there are plenty of other options to choose from, it now appears that OnePlus is working on a pair of “Pro” earbuds. This was actually revealed on the company’s Lab website where the company has confirmed that a Pro version of the OnePlus Buds is in development, and the best part is that if you’re keen, you can actually sign up and maybe even get to test it out.

According to OnePlus, “Think you’ve got what it takes to be a tech influencer? Join The Lab and stand a chance to be one of the first to review an all-new Nord 2 Series and Buds Pro device.” At the moment not much else is known about this Pro version of the OnePlus Buds, but presumably it will come with features like active noise cancellation (the current OnePlus Buds only offers passive cancellation).

However, if you’re interested in maybe taking them for a spin, you can go ahead and sign up on the company’s website, although there is no guarantee that you’ll be selected, but since it’s free to sign up, why not take that chance?
