Apple has guidelines on how their products should be cleaned. Over the course of months or years, gadgets will get dirty, whether it be with dust or fingerprints and other kinds of dirt, but if you’re the type that is trying to preserve their device as long as possible without damaging it, then maybe you might be interested in Apple’s new polishing cloth.

While the company did not officially announce the cloth during their Unleash event, it was discovered that Apple had listed the product in the Apple Store. Priced at $19, according to Apple it will be compatible and safe to use when trying to clean some of the company’s products like its Pro Display XDR.

According to Apple, “Made with soft, nonabrasive material, the Polishing Cloth cleans any Apple display, including nano-texture glass, safely and effectively.” Under the compatibility section, it lists all the iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers that users can use the cloth on.

We’re not sure if this is any different to other microfiber cloths in the market right now, but if you want that peace of mind knowing that you won’t risk damage to your Apple device, then maybe this is $19 worth spending.

Apple does have a support page on how to clean devices like the Pro Display XDR so if you want to make sure you are using the right cleaning tools and cleaning solutions, you might want to take a look at it first.
