If the rumors are to be believed, come 2022, Apple will finally unveil a brand new product category offering in the form of a mixed reality headset. However, many are wondering what the headset could look like, but thanks to Ian Zelbo, he has managed to cook up some renders of what Apple’s mixed reality headset could look like.

These are not concept renders, but rather a render based on information published by The Information, meaning that the design Zelbo has created could potentially be similar to what Apple could actually launch in 2022. Assuming these are accurate, it seems that Apple has drawn some inspiration from devices like the AirPods Max and Apple Watch, particularly in the head band section.

The renders also show us some of the potential details of the design that Apple could incorporate. For example, there seems to be a mesh covering that will sit over the wearer’s eyes. Presumably the use of mesh means that it will help with breathability so that during extended use, it won’t feel so hot.

What’s also interesting is that Zelbo is calling it the Apple View, but whether or not this is the actual name or a name that he came up with himself is unclear, but it’s not a bad one. Either way, it should still be taken with a grain of salt and hopefully come 2022, Apple will have some interesting news to share with us.
