Soundcore, an Anker brand, has officially launched the Nebula X1S, a premium home projector designed to overcome ambient daytime lighting limitations. Positioned as a direct alternative to standard living room televisions, the unit delivers high-clarity projection alongside integrated Google TV smart functionality.
- Upgraded Optical Engine: The hardware features a quad-lamp optical engine that outputs 6,000 lumens of brightness. This is a substantial increase over the 3,500 lumens of the previous Nebula X1 generation, allowing clear viewing in sunlit rooms without drawing the curtains.
- 4K UHD Triple-Laser System: The projector utilizes triple-laser technology with native Dolby Vision HDR support. Its optical assembly includes a six-blade f/2–4.5 iris lens and a 14-element glass structure, producing a 56,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for deep black levels and sharp image retention across its operational lifespan.
- Flexible Throw and Sizing: Using built-in optical zoom, the projector can display an image up to 200 inches from distances between 3.9 and 6.7 meters, with the capacity to scale up to 300 inches. A base mechanism provides up to 25 degrees of tilt for placement on floors, tables, or ceiling mounts.
- Acoustics and Connectivity: An internal liquid-cooling system keeps operating noise down to 26 dB. For external connectivity, the projector includes two HDMI ports, with one supporting eARC. While it lacks standalone Dolby Atmos audio decoding, bundles with external wireless satellite speakers provide up to 150W of total sound output.
