Nokia 9 PureView Launch May Have Been Moved Back To MWC 2019

HMD Global hasn’t said anything about when we can expect its next flagship to arrive. However, there have been more than a few leaks about the Nokia 9 PureView. A promotional video for the handset popped online just a couple of weeks ago. While it was expected that HMD would unveil this device in January 2019, it seems that the launch has again been rolled back to MWC 2019.


Nokia 6.2 May Launch This Month With Camera Hole Display

It seems that the Nokia 8.1 Plus may not be the only device from HMD Global to adopt the camera hole display. A new leak suggests that the same display technology may also be used for the Nokia 6.1’s successor which may be called the Nokia 6.2. It’s believed that this smartphone is going to be launched later in February.


Nokia 8.1 Plus May Adopt A Camera Hole Display As Well

If 2018 was defined by the notch then it appears that 2019 will be defined by the camera hole. Display manufacturers have come up with another way of maximizing the screen real estate. It involves putting the camera in a cutout inside the display thus removing the notch and freeing up more space. HMD Global might be adopting this for an upcoming Nokia device.

The leaks concerning the Nokia 9 PureView are picking up steam amid reports that the handset is going to be launched in January. It was previously said that HMD Global had delayed this handset’s release to MWC 2019.
