MacBook Air

Industry insiders, DigiTimes, believe that a refresh to the MacBook Air will be arriving this year in a couple of months – according to their sources. Apparently the Taiwan-based supply chain for Apple products will begin shipping new 11.6″ and 13.3″ MacBook Air models in late May in time for a June or July launch.

The new MacBook Air notebooks will feature Sandy Bridge processors as well as Thunderbolt ports. Nothing has been confirmed by Apple themselves, so take these rumors with a pinch of salt. However, it’s been awhile since the last MacBook Air was released, and Apple are known to have consistent updates to their computers, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to know that the new MacBook Air will be making its debut in the middle of this year.

Anybody looking forward to get their hands on a new MacBook Air? In the mean time, check out our review of the current MacBook Air.
