iPad speaker dock

Going green is a pretty big trend nowadays and it sure seems like iDevice speaker docks are some of the more popular accessories around. We’ve covered a number of them in the past, including a bamboo speaker dock, well now we’ve got one more to add to the list. From designer YellowGlueBlues, this wooden iPad speaker dock does what all the other speaker docks do: amplify the sound coming out of the device without the use of additional electricity or wires – just wood carved in a way that takes advantage of the iPad speakers that are placed at the bottom of the device.

Other than amplifying the sound coming from the tablet, the stand also holds the iPad in place, letting you view videos/FaceTime without having to hold it up yourself. The wooden speaker dock is on sale now at Etsy.com and the docks cost $65.00, though you can get the cheaper iPod version for $50.00.
