When Apple announced the iPad Pro, they also announced some optional accessories for it, like the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil. The latter is basically a stylus of sorts but if there was one issue that many seemed to have with it, it is that it’s sold separately meaning that there is no proper place to keep it.

This also means that if you’re the forgetful type, you could basically end up leaving your $100 stylus at work, at a coffee shop, in school, and so on. Enter the Quarter. This is a tiny accessory designed for the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil. What it does is it creates a dock for your to hold your stylus, dock it, and it doesn’t even get in the way of you charging it either.

How does this work? Basically the Quarter plugs into the Lightning port on your iPad. There are cutouts at the top that lets you stick the Apple Pencil in it to dock it for easy access. There is also a hole in the middle that lets you slide your Apple Pencil in for holding when you’re out and about, ensuring that it won’t fall out or that you forget to bring it with you.

There is also a place for you to clip the cover of the Apple Pencil so that you don’t lose it, and there is also a hole in which you can thread your Pencil in to charge, or to thread a Lightning cable to charge your tablet. We have to admit it is a clever idea and if you’d like to help make the Quarter a reality, hit up its Kickstarter page for the details.
