It has been a while since Nintendo launched its Super Mario Run mobile game. It has been an iOS exclusive since late last year but the company did confirm from the get-go that the game would eventually be released for Android as well. The company has officially confirmed the Super Mario Run Android release date. It’s going to be out for the most widely used mobile platform in the world later this month.
Nintendo first confirmed back in January this year that the Super Mario Run Android release would take place in March this year. Nintendo America has now confirmed when Android users across the globe will be able to download this popular title.
Super Mario Run was released exclusively for iOS devices in December last year. It has been downloaded more than 78 million times on Apple’s platform. Nintendo has confirmed that the day this game is out for Android, the iOS version is going to get an update which will add some new playable characters.
Super Mario fans who are interested in trying out this game on their Android device can now pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store. Nintendo America has confirmed that the Super Mario Run Android release date has been set at March 23rd.
