Just yesterday the official Battlefield account tweeted that Battlefield 1 would be receiving a Summer Update patch in which it would be bringing about various improvements and changes to the game, one of which is that the game would finally be bringing 4K support for the Xbox One X.

Neither EA nor DICE mentioned when the update would be released, but the good news for those who are still playing Battlefield 1 is that it looks like the update is finally here. Like we said one of the main highlights of the update is that it will be bringing 4K support for Microsoft’s Xbox One X console.

Other improvements that are made to the game include improved loading times going into the soldier customization screen, reduced disconnects when trying to join servers, as well as fixing various issues such as map vote results not being respected, players who were in queue being blocked from joining a match, and so on.

The update will also introduce rebalances to some of the maps in the game, along with various improvements made to the UI. The update should already be live and if you’d like to check out the changelogs, head on over to Battlefield’s website for the details.
