Recently there was a report that indicated that Samsung could be working on a new pair of earbuds called the Galaxy Buds. It was unclear back then how accurate this information was, but now we know that there is a very good chance that this is true. This is because Samsung Turkey’s website might have accidentally revealed the existence of the device.

Spotted on Samsung Turkey’s website under the warranty section, it lists various device categories such as mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and there was also mention of the Icon X and also mention of the Galaxy Buds. We’re not sure why those earbuds weren’t put into a category of their own, but regardless it does seem to confirm the existence of it, and the fact that it will come with a 2-year warranty.

Not much is known about the Galaxy Buds at the moment, but it is believed that it might be the successor to the Icon X and will be using the Galaxy branding versus the Gear branding that Samsung has used in the past. Presumably these will be “true” wireless earbuds and last we heard, they might be tuned by AKG as well which suggests that they might be marketed towards the more discerning listener.

No word on when the device will launch, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung were to launch it at their 20th of February event which is also expected to see the launch of the Galaxy S10.
