As per the reports, it seems that Apple has officially taken the wraps off their new video subscription service in the form of Apple TV+. This was announced alongside Apple News+ also the Apple Card, all of which will be part of Apple’s attempts to create brand new subscription services that will help boost its revenue.

According to Apple, Apple TV+ will feature original content from the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Octavia Spencer, J.J. Abrams, Jason Momoa, M. Night Shyamalan, Jon M. Chu, and more. Unfortunately apart from announcing a huge list of celebrities that will be part of this service (some of which was previously known), Apple has yet to confirm important aspects of the service such as pricing.

It was previously rumored that Apple could charge anywhere between $10-$15 a month, while earlier rumors even claimed that the original programming could actually be made free to device owners. However the company has been mum on pricing which means that we’ll have to wait until the fall of 2019 when the service launches to get more details.

In addition to Apple TV+, Apple has also announced a new Apple TV app that will make it easier for users to discover new shows and channels, some of which they can subscribe to which includes the likes of HBO, Showtime, and Starz.
