If you’re a streamer or if you enjoy watching people stream games, you’ll be pleased to learn that Twitch’s availability just got a bit wider because following the announcement last month, it looks like Twitch’s app is now available for download for Apple TV users, where they’ll be able to enjoy Twitch’s streams on a larger screen in their living room.

The app, which was previously in beta, will let users tune into various streams like they would on iOS devices or their computers. This means that they’ll be able to catch live shows or pre-recorded videos. Apple TV users will also be able to take part in ongoing chats as part of the stream, although we imagine that it might not be quite as comfortable to type using the Apple TV remote.

Unfortunately, it should be noted that unlike the iPhone version of Twitch, where users can broadcast to Twitch, the Apple TV app will not allow users to broadcast their streams. This means that the app is pretty much limited to consumption, so streamers will need to look to their iOS devices or their consoles if they want to stream their games. The app should already be available to head on over to the Apple TV’s App Store to download the app.
